WHAT IS THE AUCTION?
The annual auction is a fundraiser undertaken by both the parents and the school. All funds raised from this event go directly to Sacred Heart School's operating budget and raises money for our children's Catholic education each year. This achieved through company sponsorships or business ads in our auction booklet, as well as donations from school families and area businesses. This year our Simply Auction is being held in our Sacred Heart School gym. This fun-filled community building event begins with cocktails and a full sit down meal along with a silent auction followed by a live auction.
WHAT ARE THE GOALS FOR THE AUCTION?
The auction serves three goals:
To Raise Money -All funds raised by the auction go directly to our operating budget. This allows us to keep tuition affordable for our children to continue to experience a Catholic education.
To Build Community – The auction serves as an opportunity for SHS parents to come together for an evening out to celebrate our school, the school community and the common interest in the Catholic education of our children.
To Celebrate our Catholic Community – By celebrating our school with the area’s greater Catholic community, we keep strong connections with our non-school family supporters. Many local parishioners support Catholic education; we invite them all to join us in celebration at our annual auction.
WHO COORDINATES AND ORGANIZES THE AUCTION?
The Development Staff and Auction Committee helps coordinate and plan the auction each year. Though help from school families is highly encouraged to make this a successful event.

Our mission as a Catholic School in the Diocese of Manchester is to educate the whole child by fostering each student’s spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social growth. In our warm and nurturing learning environment, we encourage students to develop their God-given gifts and talents to the full.
SHS serves students from Hampton, NH and 27 additional towns in the New Hampshire Seacoast area, the Massachusetts North Shore, and Southwestern Maine. We are ideally situated at the intersection of Routes 1, 95, and 101 – a real help for commuter parents. In addition, SHS provides before-school care beginning at 7:00 a.m. and after-school care until 6:00 p.m. to accommodate parents’ schedules.
We are proud that our academic curriculum and teaching methods merit accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). In addition, SHS meets all requirements of the New Hampshire State Board of Education and of School Administrative Unit 21 (SAU 21) for our students in Pre-kindergarten through Grade 8.
To enhance the subject matter of our curriculum, we integrate those processes of learning that equip students to master skill sets that will ensure their success in the even more complex world of the future.
The SHS faculty and staff are professional, certified, and dedicated to teaching within the framework of the Catholic Faith. We view parents as the primary educators of their children, and we seek to work in partnership with them to provide the best educational experiences for their children. Parents are encouraged to become involved with the education of their children by volunteering their special talents to complement the work of the teachers.
As the school of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish, SHS is blessed to have priests, religious, and parishioners who take an active interest in supporting our students and our school.
